Course Details
This is your opportunity to take the Canadian Firearms Safety Course! This course is required to apply for your PAL (possession and acquisition license).
Details:
- Course duration: The course is 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Testing happens after 4:00 pm. You’ll be finished with your test between 4:50 pm and 6:10 pm.
- Time: I’ll unlock the door at 7:40 am. The course begins at 8:00 am sharp. Nobody will be allowed into the course after 8:00 am. Give yourself plenty of driving time and be early.
- Photo ID: Please bring a valid photo ID, like a Driver’s License or Passport.
- Food: Bring your food, beverages, coffee, etc. We will not be leaving for lunch. We’re eating during the course.
- Notes: Bring a pen/paper, or laptop/tablet to take notes.
- Eyeglasses: Bring glasses if you wear them. We’ll read the fine print on firearms and view a projector screen.
- PAL Application: Your PAL application requires a photo. I’ll have portrait lighting and a portable photo printer at the course. If you wish, I’ll provide your PAL application, a stamped envelope, and a photo of you after you pass your test. I ask $20 for this optional service. I accept cash or debit/credit cards at the course.
- No refunds with 14 days of the event: Your ticket works like a concert ticket; you pay for a seat. If you show up late or miss the course you forfeit your spot and no refunds will be given. If you can’t make it to the course you can gladly send a friend in your place. If so, email me to let me know.
- Class language: My course is delivered in English only and is intended for those fluent in English.
